Tullamore man killed in single vehicle crash

At 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, a 55-year-old man was struck by a car headin바카라g west on the southbound lanes of State Highway 5 near W. Pineville Road, the Iowa Department of Public Safety reported.

Authorities said the crash occurred when the tractor-trailer collided with the SUV on Pineville Road at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday.

The man was taken to University Hospitals in Des Moines, where he died at 3:45 p.m. He was identified as David Tullamore of Fayette.

The accident was under investigation by the Iowa Department of Public Safety’s Highway Patrol and the Iowa State Patrol, according to troopers.

The man’s death remains under investigation, Iowa Department of Public Safety officials said.

Cops: Truck driver slammed into Jeep, driver of van, two people

Investigators said it is believed the crash happened on Interstate 75 near Indianola Boulevard, about 20 miles east of Iowa Citgospelhitzy. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

According to the highway patrol’s media release, investigators identified the vehicle involved as a 2014 Jeep Cherokee, but did not release its registered owner and were not providing identification information.
